The expiration date on your certificate refers to the NCBTMB Approved Provider (us). This expires every 2 years. If you have an older print out of your certificate, you can always reprint a new one from your account that has our current Approved Provider status, however, it is not required you do this.
Users are required to mark each section complete in order to complete that section and move on to the next section or chapter. In the event that you leave during one of those sections, you will be required to start that section over. All completed sections are recorded and if you require multiple sessions to complete the course, as expected, you will be able to resume the course from your last completed section.
Our video courses are delivered on one of the world’s most reliable video streaming providers. If you happen to be experiencing buffering, or slow video delivery, please consider the following:
1. Close all other websites, browser tabs, and software programs. Your computer may be allocating too much power to other websites or programs.
2. Clear your cache (instructions on how to do so here) and then restart your Internet browser.
3. Computers that have not been restarted in awhile will often encounter slower speeds. We suggest that you restart your computer and then try your online course again.
4. Phones that are not connect to a Wi-Fi, or a poor performing Wi-Fi will often encounter slower speeds. We suggest finding a location where better reception is available, or using a computer that has a direct-wired Internet connection.
After successfully paying for and registering for your course, you will be able to access your account page. You will be able to view your registered courses in the “My Account Dashboard,” as well as the Registered Online Classes dashboard. You will need to complete each section in order to move onto the next section, by clicking on the “Mark Section Complete” button in the lower left corner of each section page. Please keep in mind that while each video can be paused or rewound for your convenience, each section is time restricted. You will not be able to advance to the next section or topic until your current section is marked complete.
You may pause and rewind the video for your convenience, but all sections are time restricted so you will not be able to advance to the next section or chapter until your current section is marked complete.
